FAISALABAD. State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Faisalabad has provided financing facility of Rs. 2billion to 14 units under Temporary Economic Refinance Facility (TERF) while employment of 66,700 workers was saved through SBP Rozgar Scheme, disclosed Engineer Hafiz Ihtasham Javed President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI).
He appreciated the different schemes launched by the government through SBP to help young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses instead of running after jobs. He said that applications are being received for the TERF scheme which will conclude on 31st March 2021. About the Rozgar Scheme, He said that it has been further extended for the month of October for employers who would not layoff their workers despite corona lockdown.
