FAISALABAD. Daily foundation stones of at least two new mosques or religious seminaries are being laid due to the organized efforts for the preaching of Islam, said Allama Maulana Hajji Imran Atari Qadri, Head of the “Shoora” of “Dawat-e-Islami”.
Addressing a function in Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & industry (FCCI) here today, he said that Dawat-e-Islami was established in 1980 by Maulana Ilyas Qadri and its Shoora was also constituted immediately after it. He told that the main objective of Dawat-e-Islami is to spread the message of Islam in an organized manner. He claimed that mosques or religious seminaries of Dawat-e-Islami are present in almost 200 countries which would play its dynamic role in further spreading the message of Islam throughout the world. He told that Dawat-e-Islami has 2500 religious seminaries with 600 universities while school are also being established under the title of “Dar-ul-Madina” where students are also equipped with traditional education in addition to religious teachings. He told that 30 IT Applications (APPS) have been developed and launched to instantly respond to the questions in the light of Quran and Sunnah.
He termed “Installation business” as lawful and Hilal and said that some people thought that it was a distorted form of usury which is not true. He further explained that it is prohibited (Haram) to give money on profit but it is not Haram to sell something in kind for profit. He added that he could have a separate and complete sitting for business related issues, so that traders could ask any question directly in this regard.
Responding to another question, Allama Imran Atari said that Madani Channel is also launching a dedicated Kids Channel. “It will screen programs for the children of different age groups in an interesting manner”, he added.
Earlier, President FCCI Rana Muhammad Sikandar Azam Khan welcomed Allama Imran Atari Qadri, head of the Majlis Shoora of Dawat-e-Islami, saying that in this busy age very few people spare some time to study Islam.
However, he believes that today’s function would be one of the best events of his presidency. He said there were people from every sector of the national economy in the chamber. Among them also include a large number of installation traders. He said that the Ulema will have to play their role in addressing the people’s misconception about the installation business.
Later, a question and answer session was also held in which Mr. Kashif Zia, Rana Ikramullah, Hajji Muhammad Abid and Babar Shahzad participated while Senior Vice President Zafar Iqbal Sarwar offered vote of thanks.
President Rana Muhammad Sikandar Azam Khan along with Senior Vice President Zafar Iqbal Sarwar presented FCCI Shield to Allama Maulana Hajji Imran Atari Qadri, Head of Shura of Dawat-e-Islami.
Vice President Bilal Waheed presented a special shield to Chaudhary Muhammad Abbas, principal Sandal College who attended the ceremony in connection with “Teacher Day”.
